Hey, I am Surendra Dhanpaul of Mahaicony. I am the second child of my parents but eldest in Guyana. Mahaicony Secondary School is mostly responsible for what i am today and gearing me for the world today.....actually it was the friends there....actually...it was everything. I graduated in 2003 then started teaching there from 2003 to 2004. It was a very interesting experience and really, i wish i could go and teach again. At present, i am studying at the university of guyana in the field of accountancy. its going alrite so far and i am enjoying every minute of university life. after this, i have a few options but my real goal is to own and operate my own business which will be based in Mahaicony and further i am hoping to give back to community when i am that successful....i am sure i will be with good support from friends and family. In addition to what i already wrote, whoever knows me good will testify that i am a very easy going person who can take what ever you trow at me.....i wont even bother to argue with you...especially if its a woman.....i never argue with women....i know i will never win cause i have the need to make sense....nonsense....haha. I am into my religion, Hinduism, and hope i can come very close to everything as described in the books. God is Great! thats one thing i know and another thing is that we should try as much as possible to get closer to him. "Hare Ram, Hare Ram, Ram Ram Hare Hare.....Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare"......this is the Mahamantra and you can try chanting it sometimes. As much as i am into religion, i am not a saint.....as most of my friends would know that...... My current job is accountant at Jus' Water Inc. and i am enjoying it very much. i really like my job and the people there are like family to me, good treatment, reasonable salary and lots of work. I have all of it covered except for being very forgetful. I forget everything and it gets me into trouble alot. my boss tried everything, gave me a diary, drew a chart, and alot more to get me to remember things. well, i am getting a hold of that for the while....but sometimes i still forget things. In the beginning, i used to teach, then i left there to work at Mahaicony Rice Ltd. aka Dryer.....it was a very good job but i needed to explore the other opportunities that awaited my beyond Mahaicony and Branch Road in particular. I will never turn my back on this place though cause its home. Actually, i wanted to create something like a small economy here but when i take into consideration the population, its going to be hard. but still, i will give it a shot.....just as i stated earlier. you probably thing i dont have anything better to do than to type all this about my self and all that but i was thinking, this profile is here and i might as well. i know many people wont even read it unless you are really interested in what i have to say.....honestly, if someone else had posted such a long ass "About me" i would never read it.....so i dont expect you to actually read it. what can i say, i like typing and i think that after i do put this here, i wont have to trouble it again! haha....i changed this thing so many times. Finally, i am getting a bit fed up but still, wont hurt to let you know how things are with me.... I think this is basically all there is to me....i can get pretty complicated at times but only when i wanna get away with something....but it rarely works cause i have a little thing in my heart that tells me i should not do it....anyways, all for now.

What has happened to mankind in this century? Where has man's love gone - the love he practiced ages gone by? Who is responsible for this pitiful moment in which we see brothers fighting against each other? Some places we see blood other places we see fire; we know not what will happen next. Our heads are bent in shame and dishonor and the struggle for true freedom has virtually ended. There is no mutual trust everywhere we turn, and every knife is stained with blood.
All communities today are in pain. Countless men and women are in tears. Homes and streets and neighbourhoods are weeping, religious books are weeping, and mountains all resonate with one question - Where is the unity that once united mankind? Poisonous snakes have bitten the entire country and lamps that once brightened our homes have not burnt them down. In the past, when our country faced troubling times, men used to sacrifice their lives to protect the honor of women. But now that spirit has gone and everything is different. A woman's honor is in abuse both in and out of their own homes. we have seen the fall of men folk in our country. and religion, powerless to protect women is quietly weeping on the sidelines. Whom can we genuinely blame? and, where can we go to call for help? Those who fight among them selves are our brothers. We are all guilty of having forgottoen the lesson of love. All of society is responsible for the blood that flows in our midst. Listen, all of you with ears! Just take a look at the skies. billions of stars exist as one family in the solar system. We never see them fighting and shedding each other's blood. But look at man, the son of the earth. Look how low he has fallen - he has robbed many people of their happiness. look at his face betraying his sin. the world laughs at us because of our mutual enmity. Our country is now subject to redicule from other nations. How has this moment of danger decended upon us? evem the winds are filled with poison, and this poison has spread throughout the country. nights are filled with fear. every house is caught in the jaws of death. we know not what will happen when. windows and doors are tightly locked and everyone sits at home, scared. what will happen to people in such a pitiful state? They can lose all that they have worked for - they can be attacked anytime. Oh! no protector is in sight. Even God is sleeping in the heavens. What has happened to this beautiful world of ours? Love has veen smitten a fatal blow and the coffin bearing its corpse is now taking its leave from our midst.
