GOD SPEAK TO ME...

The man whispered, "God, speak to me." And a meadowlark sang.
But, the man did not hear.





Then the man yelled "God, speak to me." Thunder rolled across the sky.
But, the man did not listen










The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you."
And the stars shined brightly.
But the man did not notice






And, the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle."
And, a life was born.
But the man did not know.





So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know
you are here." Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man.
But, the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

Footprints

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him, and he questioned the Lord about it:
“Lord, You said that once I decided to follow You, You would walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I don´t understand why, when I needed You most, You would leave me.”
The Lord replied:
“My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you have seen only one set of footprints, it was when I carried you. This one set of footprints is MINE.”



Dream of Truth

One night I went to sleep,
full of worry and concern
and as I lay sleeping
a great lesson did I learn.

In my dream I drifted
to a place far, far away…
where the Savior had been taken
to spend His final way.

The crown of thorns brought anguish
as they placed it on His head…
I watched them nail Him to the cross
where His precious blood was shed.

Despite His pain and sorrow –
these words He spoke to me:
“Precious one, doubt not My love
and you shall be set free.”



The Difference

I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I didn´t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me
and heavier came each task.
“Why doesn´t God help me?” I wondered.
He answered: “You didn´t ask.”

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn´t show me.
He said: “But you didn´t seek.”

I tried to come into God´s presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided:
“My child, you didn´t knock.”

I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray.



Today, not tomorrow!

A young girl was very moved by a sermon and an appeal to consecrate her life to Jesus that day.
She came home and wrote: “In one year I will consecrate my life to the Lord.”
She had to do other things and thought they would be solved in one year.
She went to bed, but she couldn´t sleep. A voice told her not to defer this important choice.
She got up and wrote: “In one month I will consecrate my life to the Lord.”
Although she was very sleepe, she couldn´t sleep. This voice sounded in her ears: “Consecrate your life to the Lord TODAY!”
She got up again and wrote: “In one week I will consecrate my life to the Lord.”
But the voice of the Holy Spirit didn´t let her wait a week.
It was midnight and she already couldn´t sleep.
So she took the decision and wrote: “Tomorrow I will consecrate my life to the Lord.”
She wanted to go to bed, but the voice of the Holy Spirit whispered permanent to her: “Lord Jesus calls you to consecrate your life to Him TODAY, not tomorrow!”
The young girl went on her knees and consecrated her life to Jesus.
Then she wrote down the praying of her consecrating: “Jesus, today I consecrate my life to You. I know that I can resolve all my other problems better with You than alone. Forgive me for my dirty past and wash me in the blood of your sacrifice. Please cloth me with the accoutrement of Your justness and write my name in the book of life. Amen.”
Then she went to bed and fell asleep immediately and full of peace.
But she never woke up again. That night a strong whirlwind destroyed her house and she was taken out dead. Her wroten consecrating was founded next to her.
In the day of resurrection, she will be saved.
God accepts every prayer of consecrating from the Hand of Jesus. The doings and merits of those people don´t matter.
When a human looks to Jesus through believe and accepts His sacrifice for his life, he will get the promised salvation. If she had deferred, the young girl would have been lost for ever.
She listened to the voice of the Holy Spirit and searched for God´s kingdom and His justness first.
When Jesus returns, she will get back the life she had consecrated to the Lord.

Christian grammar

A wellknown professor of theology explained the rules of grammar to his students:
In the “normal” grammar we have:
First person: I
Second person: you
Third person: he
In the Christian grammar, things change:
First person: He
Second person: you
Third person: I
“He” means God, “you” means the other people, “I” means my person



God asks you:
If you haven´t ever felt pain, how could you know that I give you healing?
If you haven´t ever had difficult, situations, how could you know that I give the solution?
If you haven´t been proved, how could you call yourself victor?
If you haven´t known sadness, how could you know that I give comfort?
If you haven´t made mistakes, how could you know that I forgive those who make?
If you knew everything, on which basis would you wait for the responses on your questions?
If you haven´t had a suffering, how could you know that I help you in sufferings?
If you haven´t been devastated, how could you know that I can make all things new?
If you haven´t had problems, how could you know that I have the right solution for each problem?
If you haven´t gone through sufferings, how could you have an imagination of what Jesus has done for you?
If you wouldn´t go through fire, how could you get read of the foam in you?
If I have given you all things from the beginning, how could you appreciate them if you haven´t ever felt their absence?
If I haven´t ever disciplined you, how could you know that I love you?
If I gave you the power on everything, how could you learn to depend on Me?
And if your life was perfect, wherefor would you need Me anymore?



What would happen if…
…God didn´t take time to bless us today, because we have´t taken time to thank Him yesterday?
…God decided not to lead us tomorrow, because we don´t follow Him today?
…we wouldn´t see flowers bloom anymore, because we moaned when God sent rain?
…God took all our holy books tomorrow, because we didn´t read them today?
…God didn´t send us any message anymore, because we don´t obey all of them?
…God hadn´t sent His Son, because we think we can pay the price for our sins by ourselves?
…God didn´t love us anymore, because we don´t love the people surrounding us?
…God didn´t hear us today, because we haven´t listened to Him yesterday?
…God answered our prayers in the same way we answer when He calls us to work for Him?
…God fulfilled our wishes in the same way we are willingly to live for Him?
…God´s love for men were not infinitive?



Listening in love

Dispite the law which punished dicers with 500 silver coins, to young people didn´t respect the interdiction. One of them was the son of reach people, who paid the penalty for him. The other one, a son of pour farmers, stood in prison. To liberate him, his mother worked hard carrying weights, which caused her blood wounds.
Through the prison bars, the young man saw these wounds and asked: “Mother, what´s about this wounds on your hands?”
His mother answered: “My dear, I suffer to liberate you from here.”
After much work, the mother got the 500 silver coins and liberated her son.
After short time, the other young man invited him again to a game of dice.
But he answered: “No. You escaped easily, but for me my mother´s hands bleeded! How could I play the game which costet my mother so much suffering?”…
All who benefit from the very high price, which Jesus Christ payed for them by sheding His blood to save them, can´t live in the sin which caused the Lord so much suffering.



The noblest book

One day, when he was in Paris, Benjamin Franklin was invited was invited to a meeting. During the discussion, the Christianity was derided, especially the Bible. One of them said that the Bible is full of lies and has no literary value. All agreed with him, just Franklin was quiet. When he was asked if he had an other opinion, he answered that he was thinking about a book he got at a collection and asked if he were allowed to read some things from this book. The others agreed and Franklin took a very often used book out of his pocket and read a fragment with accentuation. The listeners expressed their admiration and valuation, saying that it was the most beautiful text they have ever heard. Everybody wanted to know the title and the author of the book.
“Really, gentlemen?”, Franklin answered with a smile. “I can tell you that this book is full of such wonderful texts. I read a fragment from the Bible you deride.”…
Who ever wants to talk about the Bible will have to have read it at least once and know its content.

A tuned heart

“It is good to praise the LORD… to the music of the ten-stringed lyre…”(Psalm 92:1)
The heard of the human praises the Lord just when its 10 strings are complete and well tuned.
This strings you can find at Galatians 5:22 and Colossians 3:12:
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, humility.
With a none-tuned heart you cant sing to God.



A right judgement

At a judgement against John Wesley and some other Christians, the hall was full of people.
The judge asked the complainer how does he know that they have converted his wife.
He answered: “Before having contact with them, she had a sharp tongue like a sword. Now she is as silent as a lamb.”
The judge answered: “Let them go and convert all bad women of our city.”



The children of God

The children of the almighty God can´t be weak.
The children of the God of love can´t not love.
The children of the God of peace can´t not seek peace.
The children of the God of forgiving can´t not forgive.
The children of the merciful God can´t not have mercy with others.
The children of the living God can´t die together with this world.
The children of the eternal God can´t have an end.
The children of the good God can´t do bad things.
The children of the helping God can´t not help others.
The children of the patient God can´t not be patient.
The children of the God of justice can´t not make justice.
The children of the God of truth can´t lie.
The children of the God of comfort can´t not give comfort to others.
The children of the victorious God can´t be beat.
The children of the working God can´t be lazzy.
The children of the wise God can´t be sily.
The children of the faithful God can´t cheat.
